Rept Battero is a joint venture established by Liuzhou Saike Technology Development Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of SAIC, and Rept Battero Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Tsingshan Industrial, a Fortune 500 company. It is mainly engaged in the production and manufacture of power batteries for new energy vehicles. The 20GWh power battery project of Ripsec Power Battery Co., Ltd. was signed in Liudong New District in March 2022. It is currently the largest investment project attracted by SAIC-GM-Wuling's "125" project. The project has a total investment of 4.4 billion yuan, a total area of about 471 mu, and a total construction area of about 429,000 square meters. It is planned to build a power battery production base with a production capacity of 20GWh. After the project is fully completed, it is expected to form an annual output value of over 10 billion yuan.
At the same time, Rept Battero Saike is an important measure of Tsingshan-Rept Battero investment layout in South China. Liuzhou is an important node city and logistics hub of the Western New Land-Sea Corridor, and a leading city in the Pearl River-Xijiang Economic Belt.
