The Global Battery Alliance (GBA) officially approved Rept Battero to join the membership. Rept Battero participated in the online welcome meeting for new members of the GBA on June 15 and became a new member of the organization.
The Global Battery Alliance was established by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2017. It is a multi-party organization composed of 140+ companies, government and non-governmental organizations, and academia, covering all aspects of the battery industry chain. It is also the first global battery association. The Global Battery Alliance has carried out actions in battery passport, ESG and circular economy, striving to build a sustainable, responsible and fair global battery industry chain by 2030.

Just as the European Union's "New Battery Law" came into effect on June 14, the law regulates the design, production, and recycling of all types of batteries sold in Europe, aiming to strengthen the sustainability and recycling of the battery's full life cycle. The battery industry has officially entered a new era of environmental protection, and battery manufacturers are also facing new challenges. As an advocate of the battery passport and the sustainable development of lithium batteries, Rept Battero delivered the answers with actions, officially joined the GBA and actively participated in the establishment of a circular battery value chain, actively promoted the creation of a digital platform for battery passports, clearly regulated suppliers and its own production and manufacturing requirements, achieved comprehensive supervision and efficient coordination, achieved comprehensive and full-scale carbon reduction, actively assumed social responsibilities, and promoted the sustainable development of the battery industry chain. Next, Rept Battero will actively participate in GBA-related conferences and projects, and is committed to establishing a sustainable and responsible battery value chain, leading the industry's green revolution and global sustainable development.
